Purple Martin Bird House
I am moving to the country and there is a purple martin house. I need to know how to take care of it.?
There are some birds living in it but I don't know if they are starlings or purple martins. I will do some research on that. I live in Oklahoma. Should I take the house down now and clean it out? How often should they be cleaned? Any other suggestions on how to take care of them?
They do have to be taken down & cleaned yearly. There is also a certain time of the year to put them back up so other birds don't take over the houses.
